Described as a cross between Ram Dass and Häagen-Dazs, the Swami is a "FUN-damentalist" who encourages "fool-realization" rather than blind following.

This special evening unfolds in two acts:
Set One: Swami Wanted for Questioning, 7:30 – 8:30 pm PT
Bring your answerable questions, and the Swami will provide questionable answers. From politics to spirituality, relationships to the state of the universe, no question is too mundane or too profound. The Swami’s razor-sharp satire, spontaneous wit and playful wisdom will leave you laughing till the sacred cows come home. And yes, this program WILL be available for replay for all ticket-buyers.
Set Two: Beyond Beyondananda After-Party 8:45 – 9:30 pm
A special afterglow event for the live audience at the Sunrise Center
In this after show afterglow, Steve Bhaerman steps out from behind the turban for a more personal and heartfelt conversation about humor, healing, consciousness, and how we can stay sane, inspired and connected in these unprecedented – and too often unfunny -- times.
This event also serves as a pre-inaugural gathering for the upcoming Swami for Precedent campaign — a playful and profound movement dedicated to healing the body politic through love, laughter and “political climate change.”
As the Swami says: “Don’t complain – come play!”
*PLEASE NOTE: During the After‑Party, attendees present at Sunrise Center may ask questions directly. Zoom participants may submit questions in the chat; the host will relay selected inquiries on their behalf. Priority will be given to in‑person attendees, and a maximum of two to three questions will be answered.
Swami and Steve will be attending live, over Zoom ONLY, not in-person. Audience participation will be in-person at Sunrise Center or via Zoom–your choice!

Steve Bhaerman is an author, humorist, and evolutionary solutionary, who has spent the past 39 years writing and performing cosmic comedy as Swami Beyondananda.
Steve is now launching his “Swami for Precedent” campaign to bring about political climate change (warmer hearts and cooler heads).
On the more serious side, Steve has co-authored Spontaneous Evolution with cellular biologist Bruce H. Lipton.
